Ok, I saw this movie like 15 years ago on the scifi channel in the US. It had these two goofballs and few other characters who are like being hunted/killed by this cool looking alien that kind of reminded of a Guyver alien except it had this little white budda head on it's forehead that would shoot out at the end of a tentacle and bite people. The buddah head could open it's eyes and had sharp teeth if I remember correctly. I'm sorry if that sounds vague, but it's really all I can remember of the movie. I believe it was made in Japan.
