I am called Elise, but people usually give me different names: La Elissa, Iso, Isobel, Eliso, Emma, Lisou, Elsie, and others...I'm 21 years old, but I'm gonna be 22 this year :( (I'm born on the 9th of June 1980).
I live in France, currently in Metz studying at university, but I KNOW I'll live somewhere else in the future, when my studies will be done, or when I'll know what to do with my life... Last year, I was studying literature, but now I'm studying politics. I find that quite interesting, but I'm not passionate about it...

In fact, I'm passionate about art in general, but above all about music...(The problem is that in France the studies of art are not really great, and if you don't have a special talent, you won't get anywhere...and I don't wanna be a teacher... ). I like drawing, painting, writing (but I don't find all my things especially good...); well, the reason why I create things is not really an aesthetic reason, but it's because I feel better after it, a kind of "passion purgation", as we say in philosophy...

About music, I don't play any instrument, but I sing (I'm soprano). I like KUKL, and lots of Belgian bands: DAAU, Kiss my Jazz, Lionell Horrowitz and his combo, dEUS, Moondog Jr./Zita Swoon, Soulwax, Evil Superstars, Mitsoobishi Jacson, the Wizards of Ooze, An Pierle, and others... I also like non-Belgian artists: Blur (the first albums and the last one are really great...), Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Sonic Youth, Bjork, The Sugarcubes, Cat Power, Portishead, Super Furry Animals, Pulp, Magga Stina, and others...

I'm also passionate about other things: David Lynch movies (above all Eraserhead, Twin Peaks), Alice in Wonderland (I think that's a great philosophical essay...), Iceland, feminism, philosophy and metaphysics,...
